Michael Schulman serves as Chairman of the Board of Anaheim Arena Management (AAM) and Chief Executive Officer of Anaheim Sports Management (ASM) and the Anaheim Ducks. In addition, Mr. Schulman is Managing Director of H&S Ventures, the entity that manages the Samueli Family Office and AAM and ASM. Mr. Schulman serves on the boards of AAM, ASM, Anaheim Sports Holdings and Anaheim Ice Management. In addition, he serves on the boards of Telluride Ski and Golf Company, KDOC Television and is an alternate Governor on the NHL Board of Governors.
 
Previously, Mr. Schulman was a partner at McDermott, Will & Emery where he headed the Estate Planning Department for the West Coast. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Schulman was an assistant professor of law at the University of Southern California Law Center and a part-time lecturer in estate planning at the University of California, Riverside. He has lectured and published extensively on tax planning. Mr. Schulman is the author of “Applying Valuation Discounts to Wealth Transfer Techniques” and presented this in 1999 to New York University Fifty-Seven Institute on Federal Taxation. 
 
Mr. Schulman has been a member of the University of California, Irvine Foundation since 1991 and he is a member of the Investment and Finance Committee and the Stewardship Committee.  
 
He also is on the board of directors of the Henry and Susan Samueli Foundation and the Samueli Institute for Information Biology.
 
Mr. Schulman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and a law degree from the University of Santa Clara Law School. He and his wife Sherry live in Laguna Beach with their three children.
